    WPT Amateur League

    If you are bringing someone with you and they cannot or do not want to play, there are plenty of other activities for them to do. Some of the benefits of being a member is that if you finish in the top eight in the weekly game, you qualify for a spot in the Monthly Tournament and top finishers qualify for the Quarterly Tournament.

    Thanks to TV and the internet Texas Hold ‘Em Poker has grown exponentially in recent years with little sign of slowing down. While playing at the Medina Entertainment Center you can get food and drinks at Robert’s Restaurant and Bar while playing. You do not have to worry about losing your hard earned money and these games are perfectly legal in the State of Minnesota. It costs no money to play in these games and if you win the game, instead of winning money, you win prizes. Monthly and Quarterly Tournaments are held at 5:00 on their designated dates. There are on average nine tables being played at one time until the final six has been reached and then the game goes to the final table. If you cannot make the 5:00 game do not worry you can come to the 8:00 game. On average there are four tables for each game. The pizzas at Detour 19 are home made unlike many bars in the area which use frozen pizzas. You have to drive a little ways but it is well worth the trip to these venues. Free wifi is available.
